A football club is an organised association that participates in a competition of football. It is similar to a national team, as it has a squad of players and coaching staff; it is very different because it has a member's board and a chairman or president rather than Football Association (FA). Players can be of any nationalities in the squad and it is run much more like a business that sports team. It's main losses are players/staff wages and player/staff transfer fees. It's main incomes are from charging people to see games (gate receipts), winnings and tv rights.
